Get Advising

General advising begins the summer prior to your first semester at UF, during Preview. Once you have seen a Preview Advisor, you are able to see an advisor from your intended college. Together, both advisors will help you plan your academic program of study, explore the major and its tracks, and develop your career goals.

Under most conditions your academic advisor is the first person to contact regarding your progress and planned coursework within the major. To facilitate your success your advisor may refer you to the Biology Major Undergraduate Coordinator or other university resources. To identify your academic advisor please see the following information:

If you are a student in the College of Agricultural and Life Sciences click on the CALS Advising tab to the left to find your advisor.

If you a student in the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences click on the CLAS Advising tab to the left to find your academic advisor.
