Welcome to Biology Major!
The UF Biology Major combines the strengths of the College of Agriculture & Life Sciences (CALS) and the College of Liberal Arts & Sciences (CLAS) to offer a flexible, comprehensive program that prepares students for careers, graduate study, and lifelong learning.
Biology is the study of life across all environments, from microbes to humans, and through all timescales. Students gain critical thinking skills through coursework and hands-on research with faculty across many disciplines. Choose the Biology Major for a strong foundation in life sciences and the support to reach your academic and professional goals.
